10:30 start. Meet at the end of Pound Lane, Marlow where it meets Henley Road. Rough postcode SL7 2AZ. Park on Pound Lane at the side of the road. If you drive past the top of Marlow High St towards Henley for about 3/4 of a mile (the third bus stop) Pound Lane is on your left. The other end goes past the Court Garden Leisure complex if you are coming over Marlow Bridge.

The walk is 4.5 to 5miles with one or two small hills but no stiles. For newcomers we aim to finish around 12:45-13:00

We walk towards the Harleyford golf club then cross the Henley Road and through the woods to the WW1 practice trenches and the tiled house then back down Happy Valley to the cars. Quite a lot of the walk is in woods so some protection from sun or rain.

I haven't arranged a pub for lunch. The Marlow Donkey would be my choice but parking is difficult. This can be discussed when we know how many are coming and who’s up for lunch.

As usual you walk at your own risk, Come prepared for the Chiltern countryside and possibly some soft refreshing rain…
