The Science, Engineering and Transport Group meets on the first Thursday of the month at the Curzon Centre and covers any and all aspects of Science, Engineering & Transport from Orchids to Particle Physics, and from the Cosmos to Vitamin D via airport and city design. Most speakers come from our own members but each year we have a couple of outside speakers as well. Some meetings give an opportunity for discussion where you can have your say. There are outings to places of scientific interest ranging from Museums to Nature Reserves. You do not need a qualification in Science or Engineering, just an interest in the subjects. Everyone is welcome.
There will be a charge of £1 per meeting ongoing to cover external speakers and refreshments. Don’t forget to enter your car registration number on the keypad in the entrance hall.
