We meet for informal and friendly discussions on topics to which everyone can contribute, ably assisted by our native German speakers. A suggested topic is normally circulated a few days before each meeting but we sometimes discuss world news and we are also happy to hear about members’ holidays, excursions and events in their lives.

New members who want to practise, maintain or revive their language skills are most welcome. Please contact the convenor for further information.

Meetings are held in the Lounge at the rear of St Thomas’ Hall, Holtspur, starting at 1.45pm for about an hour and a half, on the third Tuesday of each month.
